HA Venkatesh, Rajath Pejaver
Abstract
Point-of-care ultrasound has been used in the management of critically sick neonates in most of the advanced ICUs. This includes bedside sonography of the brain, heart, lungs, kidney, gut, bladder, and eyes. It helps in timely diagnosis of the underlying clinical condition and thus enables swift management.
This article helps bedside clinicians to objectively assess critically ill neonates using ultrasound.
