Abstract
Lower uterine segment (LUS) fibroids are known to lead to adverse pregnancy outcomes. Malpresentation, caesarean delivery, and hemorrhage are some of the consequences. On the other hand, ultrasonographic evaluation of these fibroids may be challenging because of the size, position, and extension of the myoma and the accompanying gravid uterus.
We present a case with a large fibroid in the LUS, with similar challenges. Pelvimetry magnetic resonance imaging was done to assess the feasibility of vaginal birth.
